The UNI-T UT682 wire locator is a versatile diagnostic tool designed for installers and service technicians of networks, telephony and low-voltage systems. With a rich set of features and broad compatibility with different types of cables - from LAN, to coaxial, to telephone and electrical - the UT682 becomes a universal helper for locating breaks, short circuits and connection errors. It's a solution that combines precision measurement with ease of use.

Fast cable localization and testing

The UT682 allows efficient tracking of cables over long distances - up to 3,000 meters for telephone lines and up to 320 meters for unshielded cables. In addition, it allows testing line continuity, detecting short circuits, breaks, determining DC voltage polarity and accurately checking the connection sequence in LAN cables with a set of 9 LEDs. This is a tool that significantly speeds up work.

Diagnostics with light and sound signals

The UT682 is equipped with signal strength light indication and the ability to adjust the volume of the receiver, which increases the precision of work in difficult conditions. Cable tracking is also possible in active switchboards, making the device extremely useful for extensive network installations.

Robust design and long battery life

The UT682 transmitter and receiver are powered by classic 9V batteries, which allows them to be used immediately without recharging. Their compact form and low weight (transmitter: 125 g, receiver: 153 g) ensure convenience even when working for hours. The device comes with a practical case and a set of cables, ready for use immediately after unpacking.
