The Elinchrom ELC 500 is a powerful studio flash that unleashes your creative freedom through its easy handling and precise exposure. ELC 500 has TTL automatic with memory when switching to manual control, High Speed ​​Sync (HSS), Smart fan control, Auto-On, LED setting light and direct compatibility with Elinchrom's wide range of light shapers.

TWO VERSIONS - ELC 125 AND ELC 500

Elinchrom ELC is available in two versions with different maximum brightness. The ELC 500 has very high brightness while the output power can be reduced to the same low level as on the ELC 125. This makes the ELC 500 an excellent choice for most types of studio photography, from close-up portraits to product photography of larger objects such as furniture and cars.

Successful results immediately with TTL 

Turn on the flash and take the picture! The ELC 500 has inspiring TTL automatic that gives the right exposure from the first image. Once you have placed the main light and fill flash in the desired position, you can switch to manual mode to add your personal touch to the lighting. The exposure value from TTL mode is saved when switching to manual flash control, which allows you to easily make personal adjustments. For TTL function, Transmitter Pro adapted to the camera brand is required (Transmitter Pro is purchased separately).

Balance the light with High Speed ​​Sync, HSS

Flash photography with ELC is limitless thanks to the ability to freely choose the combination of aperture, ISO number and shutter speed on the camera. Regardless of whether the ambient light consists of a candle or direct sunlight, the photographer can balance the flash so that the image gets the right mood.

Freeze movement with Action or HSS 

There are several possibilities to reproduce a fast sequence of events razor-sharp with Elinchrom ELC. With HSS, shutter speeds down to 1/8000 sec can be used and with the Action function, the ELC 500 has the shortest burning time of 1/9430 sec (t0.1).

Auto ON 

Elinchrom ELC automatically stores the last exposure value so you can immediately start shooting after an interruption. With the Auto On function, the flash starts immediately when the flash is connected to a power source. Perfect for mounting in e.g. ceiling system when the flash is connected to the studio's main switch.

LED setting light - video light

Lighting with the Elinchrom ELC is easy thanks to the strong LED setting light that shows shadows and reflections on the subject. The color temperature of flash light and setting light match each other, which opens up creative photography when shooting with slow shutter speeds. The LED light can be adjusted in strength and delivers up to 3000 Lumen with CRI 92.
